Our Story
Founders Tom Roe and Sharon Lane have both spent years within the healthcare sector – Tom as an entrepreneur at the helm of successful care companies, and Sharon as a clinically led home care specialist. When they met to discuss the possibility of jointly launching a new venture, it was clear straight away that they shared the same values around healthcare – and a joint vision of changing the face of the sector.
So, the Komplex Group was born.
Komplex Care is well established as a provider of care for those with even the most complex of health needs.
As leading specialists in the sector, the team has the ability to manage, train and assess packages of adult and paediatric care to the highest standards.
Nurse-led training and governance is tailored to each unique package, supporting clients with conditions including acquired brain injury, spinal injury, Cerebral Palsy and Motor Neurone Disease.
Komplex Direct provides a full range of training, risk assessment, clinical supervision and oversight to the UK care sector.
By developing and maintaining bespoke, first-class packages of training, we become the only point of contact a commissioner needs for recruitment, risk assessment and care planning.
The Clinical Skills Academy covers all areas of care, with a particular focus on autism support, diabetes care and management, acquired brain injury, ventilation, stroke or CVA, and spinal injury care.
Each company within the Group focuses on a specialism, and they’re each individually brilliant – with hard-working teams, nurse-led training programmes, and a person-centric approach to care. Combine this brilliance across the Group and you have an exceptional family of care providers collectively able to meet the needs of clients with a huge range of health conditions.
Komplex Community supports adults with specialist care needs – including autism, learning disabilities and mental health conditions – to live in their local communities as a viable, clinically-sound alternative to continued residential or institutional placements.
Through building relationships with key property partners, the team provides complete care packages in purpose-built accommodation. These supported living services promote client independence in a safe and protective environment.
Komplex Health is designed to provide lower acuity support for clients in their own home, tailoring the offering to suit individual’s needs.
Whether a client requires domiciliary and personal care over a longer period, or more short-term support after returning home from hospital, a bespoke package is created working with them, their family, and their existing healthcare team.
Specialist dementia care, live-in care and child and young adult support can all be included in the package created for the client, with specific training provided for care staff dependent on those needs.
