Live-in and private care

We work with clients whose care is funded in a variety of ways, from those whose support is fully funded by their local authority or Integrated Care Board (ICB) to those who wish to pay privately for their care package. No matter how the care will be funded, our team will support you through the implementation process so we can ensure a smooth transition into Komplex Care.
Our services also incorporate live-in care for those requiring 24/7 support in their own home. We work closely with individuals and their families to ensure the right team is selected for them, and the right schedule is put together to promote optimal health and wellbeing.

What Our Clients Say About Us
As with all of our clients, each of the individuals who receive live-in care from Komplex Care have an allocated Operations Manager and an allocated Nurse Manager who oversee the clinical and managerial aspects of their package.
A thorough assessment before care begins enables us to ascertain the care needed, the diagnoses and symptoms the client has, and the type of schedule which would work best for the client and their family. For example, this may see carers alternating every 48-hours, after a week, or after two weeks. We will also aim to accommodate supporting clients when they are travelling away from home – for example, our care teams have accompanied clients on foreign trips before, or travelled with them and provided care while they are attending respite or other types of short-term inpatient treatment.
Care packages are dealt with very similarly regardless of where the funding is coming from, in that we will always begin with an assessment to identify the needs of the individual. We will then train their care team at our nurse-led Training Academy, equipping them with all of the skills needed to deliver the package in the best possible manner.
To get things started, all you’ll need to do is email us, fill in the contact form on this page, or give one of the team a call. We’d love to hear from you!
Live-in care is often an ideal situation for someone who needs round-the-clock support but wants to remain in their own home, for example, someone with a spinal injury who wishes to live with their family but might need personal care or clinical support overnight. Those with respiratory needs such as ventilation and regular suctioning may also require care overnight. Whether a live-in care package is suitable for you is something which we will discuss at length during the initial stages of getting to you know and your care needs, before we begin arranging your care package.
We will also ensure those within the team are matched closely to the client’s needs – for example, we may require all of the personal assistants to be drivers so they can help transport the client to appointments or other commitments.
