Domiciliary Care

Domiciliary care focuses on enabling clients to live as independently and comfortably as possible in their own home. Whether they need assistance with personal care, mobilising around the home, their medication schedule or any other daily tasks, our care team is there to provide a helping hand.
The bespoke nature of our care packages means they are built around the client and their needs, with as many visits as required each day which vary in length and frequency depending on the exact nature of the care required.
FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
The care provided by our domiciliary teams is not dependent on the client having a specific health condition, its purpose is to support anybody who needs extra assistance to live well in their own home. This could include taking the client to appointments or community activities, providing companionship to individuals at risk of isolation, or supporting them to undertake their daily routine.
Domiciliary care is a viable option for individuals with long-term health conditions who need additional support and for older people looking to remain in their own home with a safe and effective care plan in place. We are also able to provide a joint clinically-led and domiciliary service for those who require personal care as well as more specialised support throughout the day.
We train a team of carers to support with each client, as this means we can ensure every visit is covered throughout periods of annual leave or sickness. We always endeavour to provide as much consistency as possible in terms of staffing, so that clients and their families get to know a small number of health assistants who attend on a regular basis.
All of our care team attend our in-house Training Academy to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to support with everything from basic life-saving techniques and first aid to moving people safely. In addition, they undertake regular e-learning and ongoing training, as well as being given the opportunities to further develop their skills through professional qualifications such as NVQs.
Our recruitment and onboarding is done internally, without the use of any agencies, so we know each candidate has been thoroughly interviewed and vetted to check they are committed to providing the highest-quality care. We are also CQC registered and rated Good, showing our commitment to adhering to the regulations set down for care providers.
